We discuss everything from stress, anger, and what’s for lunch.  During this time of a historic pandemic, mom and grandparents are doing all we can to help our little ones survive this a time that we all hope will pivot sooner than later.

Guest Speakers Bios:

Daye Brake

Daye is a mom, student, educator, publisher, and entrepreneur, currently residing in Winston-Salem, NC. She has two daughters, Joi and Fayth, age 7 and 15 months. With a Bachelor in English, Masters in Publishing, and a Masters in School Administration, Daye has published 3 books and recently had the experience of opening, leading, and closing a North Carolina public charter school. Daye recently launched a virtual tutoring business that she operates from her home while serving as a full-time mom. When time allows, she enjoys reading, creative writing, outdoor walks, traveling, and new adventures. 

Mundi Massenburg Gattis

Mundi, born in Durham NC, a Wife and a Mom of three is currently a Business Analytics Manager for PNC and has been employed with them for the past 4 years. She received an undergraduate in Accounting/Marketing at North Carolina A&T University in 2003 and a Master's in Management and Leadership from Webster University in 2009.  Mundi is an immediate past board member of the Multicultural EBRG at PNC as well as a recent past member of the Diversity & Inclusion council. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta and on the PTA of her kids’ school.
